III Международный форум молодых дипломатов «Меркурий-2025» в Мариуполе

On October 28-31, representatives of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia took part in the III International Forum of Young Diplomats “Mercury-2025”, which was held in Mariupol on the basis of the Mariupol State University named after A. I. Kuindzhi.

On October 24, in Moscow, on the margins of the 8th Forum of Young Diplomats, which is held on the sidelines of the International Cooperation Forum dedicated to the 100thanniversary of people’s diplomacy, a trilateral meeting was held between delegation of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Council of Young Diplomats of the MFA of the Republic of Abkhazia, headed by the Chairman of the Council PatarayaA. G.

On October 24, the VIII Global Forum of Young Diplomats, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of people’s diplomacy, started its work in the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian MFA.

Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.G. Sanakoev and Secretary of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.A. Tskhovrebova participated in the solemn opening ceremony of the Forum. In total, about 130 diplomats from 60 states are participating in the Forum. 

In conditions of growing external pressure from Washington against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Caribbean Sea, close to its territorial waters and airspace, South Ossetia expresses its support for the friendly State and the actions of the Venezuelan leadership aimed at protecting its sovereignty and security.

On 14 October, the long-discredited European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) took another biased step by upholding Georgia's claim against Russia and awarding the aggressor, recognised as such by the European Union's international commission, compensation of €253 million for alleged human rights violations related to the 2008 conflict.
