The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic V.V. Ignatiev on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The congratulatory message states, in particular:
"The proclamation of the Republic on September 2, 1990, was an act of the people's will, that stood firm in their right to free development and the protection of their national identity. This momentous step marked the beginning of a new era in the history of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, founded on the principles of sovereignty and justice.
The establishment of statehood required incredible courage and resilience from the people of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Having endured immense trials, the Republic not only preserved but also strengthened its sovereign status, demonstrating to the whole world its unwavering commitment to peace and creation."
