Today, on June 20, commemorative events dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Ossetian Genocide, organized by the Georgian leadership in the summer of 1920, are being held in South Ossetia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia extended a note with words of sympathy and support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in connection with the 33rd anniversary of the Bendery tragedy.

On June 10, on the invitation from the leadership of “Edinstvo” (the Unity) political party, the South Ossetian Foreign Minister A. M. Dzhioev participated in the round table entitled “Russia and South Ossetia: the dynamics of strengthening friendship and cooperation”, timed to Russia Day.
On June 4, in Moscow, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Z. K. Kochieva took part in the international scientific and practical conference “Tarle Readings. Towards a New Architecture of a Multipolar World”, which was held at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On 3 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia AkhsarDzhioevhosted a meeting with the Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Republic of Austria Patrick Poppel, who is in Tskhinval on a working visit.
On 3 June, the South Ossetian delegation to the International Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasia held a working meeting with the Co-Chairs of the Discussions from the EU, OSCE and UN in Tskhinval.
During the meeting the pressing issues of the agenda of the forthcoming 64th round of the Discussions scheduled for 25-26 June were discussed in detail.
On 29 May, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A. M. Dzhioev and employees of the Ministry took part in the ceremony of laying flowers to the bust of the first leader of the Republic TorezKulumbegov, dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the Act of Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of South Ossetia.

Diplomatic service has always been a symbol of high responsibility and patriotism. In conditions of complicated international situation the activity of the foreign policy department of the Republic of South Ossetia acquires special importance, playing a key role in promoting national interests and defending the sovereignty of the country.
On May 25, parliamentary and regional elections were held in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. According to the results, released by the National Electoral Council, the Great Patriotic Pole coalition, which includes the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela, won the absolutely majority – 23 out of 24state governor positions in the National Assembly and the majority in regional councils with a 42.6% turnout.
