Regular working meeting of the South Ossetian delegation at the GID, headed by Murat Dzhioev, the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia on post-conflict settlement, and the Co-Chairs of the Discussions, representing the EU, the OSCE and the UN took place in Tskhinval on November 16, 2017.
Upon the invitation from Alan Kasaev, Chief Editor of the newspaper “North Ossetia”, Dmitrii Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, participated in the festivities, dedicated to the century anniversary of the main newspaper of the Republic.
The solemn assembly took place in North Ossetia State Thapsaev Academic Drama Theater in Vladikavkaz.
In framework of the official visit of Anatoliy Bibilov, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, to the Russian Federation negotiations with Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, were organized on November 14, 2017.
Current terms of the South Ossetian-Russian cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
Anatoliy Bibilov, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, continues his official visit to the Russian Federation.
Today, on November 14, President Bibilov laid a wreath to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden by Kremlin Wall. Members of the South Ossetian delegation participated in the ceremony. The participants observed a moment of silence in tribute to the Soviet citizens who fell in the Great Patriotic War while protecting the Motherland.
After the wreath laying ceremony the Kremlin Regiment march took place.
In framework of the official visit of Anatoliy Bibilov, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, to the Russian Federation a meeting of Dmitriy Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, with Mike Aroy, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Nauru, took place on November 13, 2017 in Moscow.
A range of issues of mutual interest was discussed during the meeting. In particular, strengthening cooperation through the two Foreign Ministries was on the agenda.

November 6, 2017 saw Dmitriy Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, participating in the International Forum Friends of Crimea, organized in framework of the International Conference in Yalta.
Sergey Aksenov, the Head of the Republic of Crimea, welcomed the participants and the attendees of the Forum. He voiced the welcoming message from Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, and marked that the document emphasizes the high level and importance of the event.
Dmitriy Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, is taking part in the international conference entitled “Crimea in the International Context. Friends of Crimea”, which is being held in the Livadia Palace, Yalta on November 6-7, 2017.
Famous politicians, acting ministers, members of parliaments, public figures, representatives of cultural, business and media sectors were among the ninety delegates from thirty states, including China, Japan, Syria, Palestine, Israel, India and European countries, participating in the conference.

During the news conference the Minister spoke in detail about the results of visits to the Italian Republic and the Republic of San-Marino and informed about the visit to Barcelona, where a representation office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in Catalonia had been opened.
October 23, 2017 saw the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Dmitriy Medoev arriving on a short-term visit to Catalonia.
Minister Medoev met with compatriots in Catalonia, who despite the distance stay in touch with their Motherland, are interested in the affairs happening there and strive for making contribution to spreading the truth in West about the events in South Ossetia.
