On November 5, a meeting was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia with Head of International Department of Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University Margarita Isaakova, who arrived in South Ossetia at the invitation of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia.
Margarita Isaakova held a presentation entitled “Soft Power as one of the key forms of influence” for young diplomats, in which spoke about the role of “soft power” and public diplomacy in forming long-term alliances and positive perceptions of the state in the modern era of globalization and digitalization, and answered questions.
Alexey Sanakoev, Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, thanked the guest for the visit, interesting presentation and wished her good luck in her new endeavors.
Margarita Isaakova is lawyer, former lecturer at the Department of Spanish Language of MGIMO and currently is actively engaged in studying Ossetian language, history and culture.
